JOURNEYMAN
Licensed 309A Journeyman Electrician
Freve Network Electrical is looking for an experienced licensed electrician to join our growing team.
This position is ideal for someone who is confident working independently, comfortable taking responsibility on a job site and interested in a wide variety of electrical work.
You May Be Working On:
- Commercial electrical projects
- Industrial electrical systems
- Residential service and upgrades
- Generators and backup power
- Private primary services
- Hydro pole installations and replacements
- EV charging systems
- Troubleshooting and service work
- New construction
- Rural electrical projects
What We’re Looking For:
- Valid Ontario 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician licence
- Strong understanding of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems
- Experience working independently
- Strong communication skills
- Valid driver’s licence
- Reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic
- Professional attitude
- Commitment to safe work practices
Ideal Candidate:
You’re someone who can work independently with minimal oversight.
You can arrive on a job, understand what needs to happen, solve problems and keep the project moving.
You take pride in doing things properly the first time and you understand that your work represents the entire company.
APPRENTICES
3rd or 4th Year Electrical Apprentice
We’re also looking for experienced electrical apprentices who are serious about building a strong career in the trade.
If you’re currently in your third or fourth year and want more exposure to different types of electrical work, Freve is a great place to continue your apprenticeship.
You’ll work alongside experienced electricians while gaining hands-on experience across residential, commercial, industrial and rural electrical projects.
You May Gain Experience With:

- Registered electrical apprentice

- Previous field experience

- Comfortable working outdoors and on active job sites
- Commitment to safety
- Positive attitude
